High-speed 2.0 USB ports located at the front (or back whatever floats your boat my man) of the power supply are a nice touch. Not many people will need eight additional ports, part of a single USB hub. The one white port to the right supplies power even when the PC is off, and with a maximum 1A users can use it to recharge MP3 players or even their mobile phone.

Overkill ? Yes. Handy ? Yes.

135mm fan on the bottom to provide cooling.  It's very silent actually and rated at 20 db(A) I believe. Fan will adjust it's RPM based on temperature levels inside the PSU, but throughout testing it always remained quiet as even at maximum load this PSU did not get warm at all. Likely at 500 Watt power consumption you'll start hearing it a little.

Backside, as you can see .. no modular cables yet fixed cables at the back-end.
